@Bill Alpert nationwide, Days On Market (DOM) are up 39% in the last 2 years.So, what worked last year or 2 years ago, is NOT going to work today!

( Not sure if that's the correct terminology.)Whatever loss I take in the first year against my wife's income, does doing this change my rental income from being passive to non passive income as well?

Maybe someone else could chime in, but for my area, 2.15 acres might be a very small park? 

But to me, Real Estate is not something that you can 'dip your toes in'.
