I've considered Detroit as well but have been discouraged by some friends who live in Michigan and seem to think it's too risky.

I also drive a car that I don't really like with no options because it had the best discount since no one want.HoweverI have many friends who hate the feeling and buy because of the security of "owning" provides.

I took over an existing tenant who frequently asks for repairs, or has complaints about the property.

He only had a part time job, but his girl friend from Brazil, whose dad is a business tycoon will be paying the rent.

Worth a few thousand discount, but understand they may want to foreclose and sell it to a friend at a discount as well.

Hello BP Community,I was looking to get started in wholesaling, and was talking to a close friend who is a Realtor to help me with my business plan.

SFRs have a few advantages though.... more family friendly, tenants tend to stay longer (at least in my experience), and better exit strategy (easier to sell, generally).

I am in NYC, but I travel back to Buffalo often for friends and fam.
