Actually, I do the bookkeeping on our LLC, so it might be something you want to delegate to your wife if she has the inclination and temperament.Since we purchased with cash, we were able to place our building directly into an LLC. 

Financing deals of this nature is what I do on a daily basis and could most definitely point you in the right direction, but would need to know more of the specifics.

As others have mentioned, shipping container self-storage units will not be direct competitors with traditional built self-storage. 

So, I stumbled upon something recently and I'm trying to figure out what my next direction should be.

I have considered designing all 9 or 10 homes and "pre-selling" based off the renderings and floor plans I design, to at least sell a couple to prove the idea before we break ground.I want to work directly with private investors, not traditional financial institutions.
