This goes out to the CPAs/accountants...if I'm selling a property that will realize capital gains, and I decide to provide seller financing, does the IRS recognize the sale for purposes of the 1031 timeline starting at the point that the funds are actually received?

The story that you put out there about yourself or your company should be one that gets potential sellers to recognize that you can relate to their situation and that you can provide the solution they need.   

The politicians did NOT fail to recognize the unintended consequences, these pigliticians  knew what was gonna happen.

There isn't much case law outside of Delaware that suggest that a series LLC is a recognized entity in many states.

The purchasing member recognizes gain and assigns basis under the general rules that apply to terminations. 

(The properties are not all going to be in states that recognize series LLC's)

They are not expected to know anything, and the State laws recognize that.

It helps us keep our purpose in mind and it is easier to recognize when we are finished.
