Those built 1910-1930 have the concrete block foundations that have kind of a diamond pattern on the outside of the blocks.

My last two appraisals, I could not be there and got hit for stupid stuff and I had no chance to dispute it because once it's done you have no recourse against the appraiser or the appraisal.Big example, I got hit for a firebox within 6 inches of a flammable surface, both walls and the floor around the fireplace are solid concrete!!!

This is not the first time I have dealt with cemesto it is a building material made of the core of sugar cane, concrete, and asbestos, I didn't catch what state your in but in Colorado it is a regulated material and requires an asbestos abatement company to remove or encapsulate it .
