@Jessica Heller I do have some ideas on this and it strongly depends on what you are trying to do but I would recommend to take a referral OVER just going out and finding it on your own. 

Anyhow...sounds like you're on the same page with @Shawn Parsh about picking the worst property in the best neighborhoods  >>> I get it, and trust me I'm always looking for those gems (if/when you find them, they get snatched up fast!!).

I am on an H1B visa and new to rental properties.

I used the app thumbtack in the past but the list of GCs on that app is very small. 

It is also simple to use a beneficiary deed (transfer-on-death) for real property.However, if there is no named executor of my estate (no will/no trust), how would the DAF be notified of my passing and the existence of the beneficiary deeds?
