I left the rat race...

My wife has a really nice horse she boards.

@Steve Babiak  I'm glad you know what a 'carriage return' is, because I don't think it has anything to do with untying the horses and returning the carriage to 'rent-a-carriage' ;-)

I also breed, train and sell horses on our farm but that is an entirely different  thing.

I like how we are still looking to move forward with our lives when when the axe drops, and the horses run free.I am going on the assumption that everyone I talk to, is hammered in the media frenzy and still thinking that the talking heads on TV or your favorite FB type outlet have any clue at all.

People always do this when it comes to cars they scare themselves into another monthly payment and it just keeps you in the rat race and they repeat it again in 8 years when the next car needs something.

I'm getting hurt financially but as someone part of the human race, I accept it is necessary. 

Regardless when I have a family to take care of down the road having good health insurance is going to be very important as I “stick it to the man” and exit the rat race.

My husband is probably on the other side of this in that he does like the investing, but it is more as a way of escaping the rat race.
