Account Closed I would think NO.If the law says (and hopefully your lease) that he has to give 30 days notice and he did not then he is not entitled to the deposit.I would confirm this with a local attorney to confirm.

If this is a rental property $1,700 per month profit sounds a bit high are you sure you have accounted for all expenses?

At that point, they give you credit for 75% of the rents to account for vacancy and capex.
