They are not cheap and obviously require some kind of cellular plan, but I was able to get them to work using Mint mobile (you need a phone to activate the sim card on first, like an old iphone) Ive had 3 of these up watching a property in Cleveland, OH for well over a year, and Ive only had one issue where I needed to go check on the camera itself, (the plug for the solar panel came disconnected and just needed plugged back in) This camera in particular is nice because its actually 2 lenses that capture the full 180 degrees, so one cellular plan for "2" cameras.

We are trying to figure out a business to put in there, the one issue is there is not a whole bunch of parking on this street or at this property (could maybe fit 4 cars in the building lot, the street parking varies), and the nearest lot is about 700 ft away, across a busy-ish street that does not have a crosswalk on it.

@Joshua Byrd The other issue you may run into is that it may be harder to find a closing attorney because the interpretation of the law is somewhat unclear and they would rather not work on these types of deals so that they can completely avoid the chance of being disbarred.

Meaning there wouldn't be any safety issue for the kids - I've never run into this but could be worth looking into with NYC DOB.

I’m sure you can have a loan denial issued if you state that you do not have enough funds in place to make this happen, which will allow you to exit your contract because of not being able to meet the financing approval period.
