I began with  PMmadeeasy,com and read Dan Kennedy's books, one of which is titled, "No BS Ruthless Management of People and Profits: No holds barred, Kick Butt, Take-No-Prisoners Guide to Really Getting Rich.

I've recently come across an investor client, a very rich woman from Manhattan whom my uncle works security for since the early 2000's and has now become sort of her right hand man for everything.

Bringing in experienced partners took a lot of the uncertainty off the table, and let me move on to finding the next deal.I think it's important to realize that no matter what you do, you're not going to get rich off of your first deal.

But post 2008 crisis, the combination of low interest rates, low unemployment, high property appreciation, proliferation of syndicates, YouTube videos touting RE riches and more chatter around blogs, RE sites etc, all of that had made RE investing a lot more popular among various tranches of the middle class.

Real ambitious people might have gotten rich after being laid off if they just figured out how to make toilet paper!

@Rich Hupper Shouldn’t make any difference. 

That's pretty rich, but if your business plan supports those cost of funds then it doesn't mean it's a deal breaker.
