By being able to save 6k or 8k on a deal can make a "maybe" deal into a "yes" deal.

In my area around Flower Mound they are still allowing it but prices are high.I know that new builders in the Fort Worth area are allowing it too, but most of them are.small builders and you need to dig in to find them.

I always thought it was a cool idea, but anytime I see tech people get into real estate and construction (especially to this scale), I really pause and take caution.

Look into DSCR (Debt Service Coverage Ratio) loans that might have more flexible income requirements?

Our goal is to not have any lost income due to them breaking their lease, and not so much penalize them for a change in their circumstances.

The 180 day limit was never a factor, even the 45 day limit didn’t come in to play. 

I'd like to refinance into a DSCR loan and pull $35k cash out to payoff a HELOC that I used as down payment.
