With the help of this great network my wife and I were able to start our OOS investing career at the close of 2017 and we are very blessed and thankful to say that we currently have 5 units under our belt and are in the midst of acquiring 2 more before the close of this year with the amazing growth that we gained from our first unit which we are in the process of doing a cash out Refi on.Alot of people here in the Bay Area think that OOS investing is crazy, that I'm out of my mind and that you can never grow wealth this way and that you should invest here in the Bay and blah blah blah so it was very difficult to learn and go at this alone until I found this beautiful network of good folks doing it everyday!

Lower, maybe I am thinking about offering to much, in any case it doesn't give me the current market value but it does make me think about the property from a different angle for a moment. 

Today, there was a posting on my FB feed for Airenvy, however, this one really got my goat as it stated under the beautiful picture of a couple in the mountains, "New service for VRBO." 

The beautiful thing is that life would have willingly paid for what we had asked of it.

I remember visiting my classmates' nice single family homes and always having that gut feeling of awe and appreciation, the same feeling I get to this day when I walk into a beautiful home.

Since I am new to the industry I would like to see if any of you might have experience with REI in New York/Greater NY area and could save me headache figuring out feasible REI opportunities/types in NY area at the moment.

Funny what you can accomplish by having a bit of face time.I've got two properties reserved at the moment and both are undergoing the repairs and renovations needed to get them rented.  

Also - after telling me several times that my loan was approved at the last moment they came back and said that the appraisal was done on existing value not the rehabbed value so they declined the loan - this was done by their appraiser The biggest gripe I have is that they REQUIRED that I also had to borrow the money for doing the rehab and would have to pay a fee for them to come inspect the work every time I completed a phase and needed a draw to pay contractor that did that work. 

So for example a craigslist add could say "great deal on beautiful contract, 3/2 (3bd/2b), Toledo Ohio, 43614, 2,500 square feet call immediately!"
