There appears to be a growing migration to Houston and it's surrounding areas attracting a wide range of mattress money clients.

Much lower prop taxes and Colorado is attracting people, unlike some northern states.

As far as condos, the HOA fees and rules are what make those either very attractive or not so attractive depending on the person.

I would suggest you start with vacant land as the prices for occupied are going way too high to make them attractive for a flip and your redemption period is shorter on vacant land than occupied may be if it is a homestead.
