I I feel that this is the best time for me to get started because I am a fresh out of school, I am currently trying to build a real estate investing business, and I have a lot of time on my hands because I recently moved back home with my family.

SFR's have taken off in Surrey and while the prices haven't gone up as much as, say, Richmond/hot school districts, they have done well, and they've pulled ahead of MFR's over the past few years (I called that one right a few years back and bought a fixer-upper house vs a townhouse). 

There are a lot of missing variables that could make a big difference in decision making (improvement costs, area/schools, ARV, etc.).  

Which is why single family rental housing in great neighborhoods/school districts is in high demand.

I work at Shell Oil as an engineer, and attend the part time business school program at UC Berkeley (Haas).  

My brother lived in the Cedar Park area when he went to school at University of the Sciences...I think it's a great area with upward potential. 

Strip Malls, Casinos, Film Studios, Production Houses, Schools, Tech Companies, Start-ups and even Vacation Resorts, Apartment Complexes and even islands).  

I am still very tied into the UCF area of East Orlando, and whether you are looking at something to pay you while you attend school, or something more long term, I will be happy to share from my first buying experience, to what I have learned in the 10+ years I have working real estate in Orlando.

I am currently a freshman in college and work 2 jobs to pay for my schooling funds.
