It seems you're covered on time so then it's a matter of ability to pay up front costs like MLS membership, NAR membership, some marketing costs, and miscellaneous office costs. 

I have put 3M type of film on our office windows and they are a pain to remove but not impossible.

Anyone has experience with renting out single house for office use?

HI @Beth Thomas, if it went back to the bank for sure then you should be able to search your county assessor's records (either online for free or for a small fee) and determine who the current owner is, or else you could try your county court clerk's office and find the loan documents that were filed there against the property. 

All of my tenants drop off rent at my office.
