I would talk to your lender - there might be state specific issues but I know alot of folks (myself included) that bought only in one name.

If there is a specific reason that music too loud during the middle of the day is a problem I would be clear with them.

Every market is different, and I won't speak to Cleveland specifically, but for my clients in Chicago, a house hacking strategy is often more about appreciation.

Since I'm young and haven't done this leasing/renting out process before (my house hack roomates have been friends), I'm afraid of onboarding the wrong tenant or drafting up paperwork/leases that doesn't fully protect me as a landlord.

Perhaps you can find one willing to take on the project, someone who really understands your specific concerns.

I'd consider utilizing the tax experts option on turbo tax if you have any specific filing questions.
