If you're looking for higher cash flowing markets, I recommend starting in Midwest because it's affordable and offers good cash flow.

You can buy lots of affordable books online (Short-Term Rental, Long-Term Growth is a good one to start with) and I would also recommend subscribing to podcasts, publications etc.

I would recommend sticking to one strategy at first before you venture into others.

If you have any recommended insurance providers I would love to hear them. 

I have had a few recommendations for credit unions in the area with great programs, but because my primary residence is in Florida I do not qualify for membership.
