I have experience in student housing and senior housing so I do believe that there is a market for such niches.

I am a US citizen and currently active duty, but just yesterday I left my house without my wallet.

US Citizens have a "Social Security" Card so make Guest Workers get an "Immigrant Security" Card.As for cutting Social Security, that isn't going to work.

Sometimes I have emailed a ceo, called the office of the president, written letters to senior executives, and rarely, you can get help from the "no men" stooges at the lower levels of customer service.

Find the nearest school of Architecture (Cal Poly comes to mind as my son in law graduated from there) and see if you can have some students address your project for a Senior project.

I am a college senior now and am dying to get into real estate but want to finish school out strong and really learn about the business as much as I can before I get into it.

Federal guidelines, but local decision making, which can vary from the guidelines.I'd go (phone calls in most places are impossible) to the local office (county or city) that administers the Section 8 (sometimes called housing choice, or just "housing voucher") program and ask to speak with a senior counselor. 

Originally we were going to go with TenantCloud, but their payment service Dwolla, doesn't service non-US citizens and we have a few tenants who are here working in the hospital nearby through work Visas.  

I have couple of friends outside United States  (Non US citizen) that have never declare taxes here, that are interest in acquiring properties for investment in Houston area , what options of financing would an expat have here in Texas ?
