If that 115 dollars represents what you will be paying as 'rent' you should be very happy and you have more than achieved the house hacking goal.

I would want to see it and give it a thorough reading to see EXACTLY what the contract says, and IF the wholesaler fraudulently represented himself as a broker.  

I never dealt with this but if it happened I would contact my local representatives and explain the situation and ask for them to contact the office manager/secretary/whomever to put pressure on them.
