I want to make money as a fiction writer, and I could start that process in self-publishing and quickly make a buck, but even if I turned my success into millions, it wouldn't be my dream.To do what I love, truly do it, my books have to come out from the big publishers, go on the shelves of bookstores nationwide, publish in hard cover, then soft cover.

Also, the bank can terminate the outstanding line of credit whenever they like.Using the HELOC funds for the initial purchase is fine, but I would look at converting that to long-term debt with a refi as soon as feasible.
