@Caleb Schmitz I think the safe room idea does not give you any tangible benefit in any type of common rental, no matter if low income or upper middle class - it's not something people would value that much.

Then again this is for large lenders that report to the credit bureaus, not private lenders.It's also quite unusual to have a mortgage payment due in the middle of the month, not the first of the month.Regardless, how can they say you were 30 days late when you weren't.
