Better to have multiple credit lines with more credit and spread debt than only have 1 or so and have it be high in relation to the limit.

No money = no way to pay for laminate flooring either IMO.Getting the higher monthly payment also gets you paid off faster, or gets you a bigger monthly spread of cashflow.Only you know whether you can (afford to) carry for the extra month or two upfront.
