Assuming this is on the up-and-up, fire damage isn't the end of the world if you have a good contractor...and assuming the place hasn't sat in the elements for 2-years growing mold on drywall....still houses are sturdy and some of the things that scare people away can be fixed.

If you have experience with it, would love to hear your thoughts, but that's not my main question.I was looking into an Health Savings Account (HSA) which looks like a great option as well for minimizing medical costs (since most non-premium payments can be deducted via an HSA) but You must have a high deductible health insurance plan to qualify for an HSA.

In my experience, I usually keep it simple at first and do the main 3 inspections, Home, Pest, and Roof.The home inspection report and your inspector should give you more detail about the deficiencies on your property and to what extent they are.
