Look for areas you can invest with population and job growth that are also landlord friendly, tax friendly, and have positive cashflow.

.- LLCs don't provide much anonymity. trusts do a better job at this.- i've heard of investors with a LOT of single-family homes structuring it so they have a few similar properties in each LLC, balancing it every so often so there is about 1m of equity in each LLC.
