You can definitely accomplish what you are asking, but unless you implement additional strategies (such as a involving land trusts, etc.) you will have to pay the additional foreign filing fees involved in operating these entities across state line.

While his model and the success he's had from implementing it is phenomenal and inspiring, it isn't replicable everywhere.
