Do I subcontract out all the individual skills or try to find a handyman that can accomplish a wider array of items (like outlets, lighting fixtures, exhaust fans, LVP flooring, etc.) and then hire subs for specialty items (roof, siding repair, painters, etc.)?

This may be harder in a tiny town but check to see if any property management companies are hiring and try to get your foot in the door. 

Do you plan to DIY or to hire out the rehabbing?

Easy to self manage with Vrbo and Airbnb, then hire a cleaning service to handle turnovers.
