If it makes any difference, my house is at the bottom of a hillside (it butts up to the bottom of it), and my garage is street level, with the living spaces sitting on top of the garage (and crawl space).Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cost of service is $14.95 to $19.95 (depending on service) a month.On top of that, if you call within the 30 days to cancel, they will lure you back by cutting the price in 1/2!!!

The current lender I am talking with stated they are only concerned about the income stream of the properties which is encouraging but I want to make sure I am moving in the right direction and taking full advantage of all opportunities because 30yrs fixed at 5% sounds much better than an ARM after 5yrs.Thank you for any feedback, this community is fantastic!

It's just that one would imagine that after a bankruptcy it's hard for it to get much worse, and the location is so fantastic you'd think there would be a chance for it to be discovered by refugees from the enormous prices elsewhere in the Bay Area.Minh L.

graet point Al Williamson...as a personal rule, i have stayed away from buildings where one tenant is on top of another..for one thing, the noise as al said..another is plumbing leaks from one apartment down into the other..if a tenant keeps their shower curtain open, it will eventually leak down into an apartment below...if it leaks into their kitchen below,they see the damage and hopefully stop...if it affects another tenant, they may not realize or it care to change their bad habits
