@Brie Schmidtunderstood...I was just checking the cook county property tax portal and it shows  Property Class Description Apartment building with 2 to 6 units, any ageWasn't sure if that means building is zoned as max 6 units...I will ask for the zoning certificate from seller..Thanks!

They typically can not be deduced from exterior pictures.Don't recall 'L', 'T', XYZ shaped entering into a description.

APN stands for Assesors Parcel Number and is the means in which the county assesor lables the lot (via a number) which can be found with the legal description of the parcel (lot).At least that is how it works here in CA
