Maybe that is true, even if I personally find the story extremely dubious.And maybe I am being overly caution and someone could argue that where there is smoke there is not always fire.

For smoke alarm, you need 1 within 10'  of every bedroom, but I believe that information is in there as well.

There are multiple smokers who came to the front yard to smoke even though they have a fenced back yard, and 100+ feet away the cigarett smell flows over to my property.

Any suggestions on finding someone that knows the zoning without them blowing smoke :)

Ceiling shouldn't have a smell unless they were smoking or from water damage.

Not surprised as it’s just me and my wife who live here and we have no pets, are very clean, and don’t smoke.

I then have general questions:- does anyone in the household smoke in the home- are there any circumstances which may interrupt your income or ability to pay rent? 

Was that smoke, or is it realtively true?

If you are attending, you should be able to observe and converse with prospects to determine if there are other factors...not enough counter space; small closets; only one bathroom; dark finishes, whatever.
