When it comes to your LLC I believe that you should be able to capture the depreciation from those properties against your other ones assuming you are a qualified real estate professional as long as you are a single owner of the LLC.

One way to look at is that your paying a property management fee of 8-10% to do absolutely nothing but just hope that this is a long term hold because you might have to pay these again to buy something else....correct me if I am wrong.

If you sell now without a 1031, they'll take that new sale price and compare it to your new adjusted basis; the difference is your total gain,  split between long term gain and recaptured depreciation.
