Im a new investor from VA concentrating on buying homes in Winston Salem, NC.

There is a remarkable number of homes that would be perfect matches for people, but for minor reasons the homes do not meet FHA or VA home loan requirements.

As for not putting 20% down, you have access to the VA loan, which will allow you to purchase a home or multi family property with 0% down, as long as you intend to occupy the home for a year (military orders can get you out of this obligation). 

@Robert Cook there is also the ability to purchase an owner occuppied unit with FHA or even VA if you've served in the military for $0 down to 3.5% down.

I'm currently in the process of obtaining my Virginia real estate license and I am looking investors, fix and flippers, wholesalers or all of the above that might be willing to take on an intern or apprentice and show me the ropes. 

I'm new to the area (VA), was just wondering if their was any local wholesalers in any of the surrounding areas near Fort Belvoir, VA?

I tried VA's over the years, Odesk, etc.

These Closing cost seem a little weird if anyone could shed some light on what i looking at would be great, this being my first mortgage, im second guessing everything, and input would be a great help ,thank you
