What isn't being mentioned in this post is the fact that MANY people made an absolute fortune investing ONLY in appreciation in Florida, California, Nevada (Las Vegas), Arizona and New York over the past 5 years.

I'm in unless I have to go to Vegas on business.Yeah right, how do you do business in vegas?!?!?!

between my wife and myself, we lost a pretty decent chunk in the market last year. it's unfortunate, but investing in the market is just like our twice a year trip to vegas....a gamble!

We did have a pilot who flew us to Vegas a few times for dinner with another couple.

If you are looking to buy land and knock down properties and just sit on them I would look going behind the Motor City Casino and buying in the area.

So far, I have looked a little into Las Vegas, Provo, Austin, and Orlando.

Since I came to Atlanta, people keep asking me about this show and I watched a few episodes for the first time last night.My question is based on my experience of flipping houses for a few years in Vegas... is there anyone on BP who thinks this show is anything other than a cartoon?

Everyone has their own things that they splurge on - travel, casinos, designer wear,etc.

IS a huge industry as we know.. one of the bigger fulfillment companies in Utah has over 400 employees.. they do fulfillment for Tony Robbins and the flip Vegas folks and *************o  (sic)   etc etc..
