I believe appeals are usually done at the County level in the summer timeframe.

I think what I'll end up doing is move the cable that is going inside the house and putting it somewhere it is not an eye sore (it's eye level and not discreet).

I might be willing to live in a living room behind a curtain to make the numbers work but that's about the level of my "discomfort pendulum" at the moment. 

But this is another level altogether.
