@Reed Starkey,I agree, having the "why" question answered is key.My big 'why' is to have the flexibility to do whatever I want, whether it be travel, working on goals I deem important, or helping people.  

If you can find anyone locally because of the competitive of the business, I am going to travel out of the area maybe even 2 hours away to meet with someone who will take the time to talk with me.

sounds like the wholesaler got a smoking deal when they tied it up... see if they own it or just trying to flip it.

Over the years, I've had claims for accidents (some my fault and some others') plus homeowners (lightning struck a tree and travelled into my home) ...

I travel a lot so it wasn't going to be realistic for me to do it myself anyway. 

Should I seek out mentors and travel to them as often as possible working to LEARN rather than working to earn?

My partner and I traveled for miles over this past Holiday weekend to look at properties and John met up with us and walked us through each property.

@Yosef Fares, I would love to be able to recommend a GC, but I am not in your area, and I have a terrible track record for choosing the guy who can blow the most smoke.
