I wish there was a really great, reputable, wonderful warranty company out there that would give you a new AC compressor for a $50 copay if you pay then $250 a year :p Barring that, it ends up about even over the course of the decade I guess.

I'm no reknowned wholesaler but I personally value my reputation too much and like actually being hands on with things.

@Gary McGowan I'm all for reading Canadian content, I just found that particular book did not live-up to its reputation.

The brokerage can lose their livelihood and reputation that they have built up over decades.

All the compressor manufacturers have said the same thing.

This is a business, I can not build a good reputation by backing out on deals via escape clauses. ( I see them as a second round of negotiation).

You risk reputational damage on future deals.That said, if you have the time before sale, and the property is priced correctly and the lender gets paid in full, go for it!
