Hi @Jacob Tudor,I think I can help simplify this conundrum for you.You hired someone to do a job, and gave them the materials to do that job (your financial paperwork, etc, is the same as providing a painter with paint and paintbrushes).

I got a bid from Overhead Garage door for $4800 for a new door, operator, remotes, and the labor/materials to remove the column, patch concrete where column footprint was on the floor, and install a beam.

I can see ECA DuctWorks investing time and materials in exchange for light returns after sales.

You would have complete control of the rehab, who does the work, how it's done, the materials you use, etc.
