.- Improper footings/foundation - They have done some work to increase stability but looks as though it was not permitted, as is sometimes typical with early 1900s homes, there are no footings underneath the vertical foundation wall.

Don't forget to include any city permits / inspections if they are needed. 

There is so much red tape from permits, codes, zoning, engineering, environmental approval, etc.I wonder if it is by design or if our delegates are living in a bubble.

Louisville Building Permit application is nice and short but short on details.I am just removing a hall closet to widen the hall and relocate an outlet, I assume a permit is required.
