I dont have experience buying but have looked into it, from what I can tell, if you buy it at a tax auction, The owner has a certain amount of time to reclaim the property.

How can you possibly match that?

You could set up a PM LLC that both of you would "Hire" to manage your tenants.

You'll want to talk to them, see their work, and get a gauge for how much they cost.

@Marcele Johnson I dont think he is here on Bigger Pockets but I have a great contact for you who is on the east side that has had dealings with them. 

First, I would get with two people, an investing friendly real estate agent which you could connect with on here as well as a local lender.
