We have found - from personal experience - that these courses offer general knowledge that often do not apply to your state or local area. 

From my experience in Florida real estate, I'd suggest confirming the repair budget is realistic—costs can often exceed initial estimates.

I'm still in early days of building up my business (and my experience... and my confidence), but I think I would be a good property manager if I were to scale.

Someone from the company should perform a site visit of the property to do a thorough analysis and ensure eligible components are identified accurately.Licensure and experience: The firm should have licensed tax specialists and engineers and this is recommended by the IRS.Experience with your specific type of property: Not every property is treated the same whether it be office buildings, self-storage, restaurants, gas stations, mobile home parks, residential properties, multi-family, or car washes.

Someone like SunBelt, but there may be dozens like this company who regularly sell such businesses, works with consultants who have buyers looking for these businesses, and have experience with valuations.Does the business own the real estate or do they lease?
