Good luck.yea, i was told that usually detailed drawn site plan is really only needed when you are adding an addition, we are not...they're just looking for excuses to delay i think...i really think i may just move forward without a permit.  

I understand that having a baby is a big deal but usually does not excuse you from paying rent.

The excuse of "I havent been inspected for the section 8 program" also isn't going to fly because they will do the inspection as part of the move-in process.   

They left the unit in better shape than when they moved in because they believe that just because being poor is no excuse to live messy.

Sometimes I'd really like the applicant - some can be so charming and/or are good con artists - that I'd start making excuses for their credit reports or references, and that's when I'd get into trouble ending up with a not so great tenant.So, just stick to your guns and say no. 

A path to follow each and every time, regardless of the excuses given by the tenant paying late.  

I do require that tenants schedule the payment for the 1st and offer no grace period for Cozy since there is no "mail delay" excuse.
