Basic training is at Lackland Air Force Base, and there is a graduation nearly every single weekend of the year.

Keep devouring the information, I've listened to every single podcast and try to read a lot. 

I guess my first incorrect assumption was that this llc would be treated as a disregarded entity just as a single member llc was. 

Might there even be differences between a single family home, 2-4 units, and  5+ units in those areas?

Very little, we own 45 total houses that we rent, 2 4-plexes, a 3, 5, and 6 mobile home park, and the rest single family.

Hey everyone.I own 4 single family homes, looking to scale up.

I won't be investing in the riskiest/most supportable asset subclasses such as hotels, and tilt my portfolio the ones that have historically been more stable such as multifamily and single-family housing.

I would really like to invest in multifamily properties but I know that is a big leap as a beginner so I plan to first start off with single family properties and transition into multi family properties and maybe commercial(who knows).I am mainly looking at properties in and around houston for investing.

If so, this is somewhat discouraging, and aligns itself with the comparable philosophy like single family homes.
