I'm not a talky person to start with, and also a relative newbie to RE investing.

In order to eventually start investing in real estate after receiving my pilot job, I would like to learn more about investing.

It is a fair start though, but I also like to have a map view to see if there are glaring value changes based on location from the subject. * 6 month comps - this is usually a good rule of thumb in a typical stable market, but can be somewhat confusing in a faster moving market.

I started a thread about this very thing a year or two back with no real answer. 

The little triangle would start to turn for a while and then it would stop.  

There's a ton happening in the city and folks are finally starting to catch on.Detroit was also the fastest appreciating market in the country the other month, so it's clear folks are catching on!

Purchase price: $320,000 Cash invested: $105,000 I started with me first property investment.

Needless to say, I explored further by pulling up & printing all information and pics online pertaining to this property & even got in touch with the real estate agent who sold my friend this house to find out some info about the Granny unit I live in & if it was truly built without a permit.

@Christopher TeagueRecommend exploring as many sources as possible to get referrals AND cross-reference them to get as much accurate information as possible.Check out NARPM.com, BP’s Property Manager Finder (BiggerPockets: The Real Estate Investing Social Network), etc.Also, encourage you to learn from the mistakes of others - by reading posts here on BiggerPockets about owners not having their expectations met by their current Property Management Company.
