Michael Short   Don't get me started on how women get short-changed if they are stay at home moms, starting with Social Security benefits....But, if your Mom came to me, as a landlord, saying she's in the middle of a divorce and she should be getting alimony - but doesn't have it yet, may not get what she thinks she'll get, and there is no proof of regular deposits in a bank account to show me it would be reliable - I'd have to deny her.  

This has contributed to lower inventory as sellers are hesitant to walk away from their historically mortgage costs, but the start of the pandemic era rates is now four years ago (2020) and life events often eventually force property sales.

Or even rent the room out long term if I ever decided to.Just trying to get as much info from as many minds as possible before starting the process.

If you were to venture into STR I would suggest starting with one to test the market and see if it is something you would like to continue to expand into. 

Offering that information at any time (even after closing) I would think would start all sorts of problems.

I would keep the property, take the extra cash flow & invest in more rentals/real estate strategies. maybe start another business. never sell the house unless i absolutely have to. 

I live outside of Pittsburgh, and have recently started investing in this area as well as the northern panhandle of West Virginia!

After I realized that I have been taken for a ride I started researching Citrona Homes and the owner.
