Am looking to help fund my retirement so am not looking short term particularly.The loan can be up to 15 years with a 25 percent down payment and must be the only loan on the property.

After living in Marlborough, it's not as "scary" as people make it out to be, and our street demographics were about 50% retired blue-collar folks who were often original owners (40 yrs +), and most people moving into the neighbourhood were younger immigrant families, usually with kids, typically as renters.

Occasionally, you will find an homeowner that lost a job or retired and are behind on their mortgage but still have equity.

-We are happy to be moving towards our "retirement goal".  

Can't retire from work without that. 

Ideally it should be sold and the money used to support mom in a retirement seniors living facility until she passes.
