Without plans and product specifications a contractor is throwing out random numbers as well.

That's pretty random - I wouldn't be too hard on yourself, but yeah, good to develop a procedure so it doesn't happen again :)

I asked random people questions while I worked on my own projects at home.

However, my agent also shows that they respect me as a client, and value my business, by not wasting my time, and also by not charging me any random/arbitrary fees. 

Hi guys ,So this is a random one ..just looking for input and some ideas , i found a commercial property with three rental units , the first floor is a pizza store no longer being used , but all the equipment is still there , negotiable in the sale , just wondering if anyone has had any similar experience before ?

(completely a random topic by the way..)not that that information wasn't useful, but i was so annoyed that i wasted 8 hours of a saturday, and $50 and got watered down stories instead of some detailed information.

You get a lot of information just from going up to random people (especially those who are bored and behind a counter) and talking to them.

I'm going to send you an IM too, (Andy and I actually knew each other a ways back outside of BP and it was cool to randomly reconnect via BP!)

I enjoy listening to the podcasts and going through random threads to see what catches my attention. 


@Andrew Jones if you are just calling agents randomly, you will be getting on a lot of people's bad side and as the previous poster mentioned that makes people not want to work with you.
