After the short-lived oil boom that ended 2 years ago there have been an unbelievable amount of foreclosures, which means an unbelievable rental increase in the area. 

Halfway through a second semester I was offered a job in the oil industry as a Field Engineer for Schlumberger Well Services.

I'm wondering if we will see a small uptick and then a downturn in 2018...which will more or less follow the oil price predictions?

Think of it like a mechanic in a way...they can all change your oil but some will treat you different, or get it done faster, and most will be around the same rate on a loan like this. 

It didn't stop my wife from objecting, but it made her a lot more comfortable.I explained to my wife that when we were dating I was riding bulls, riding race horses in races, working in an oil derrick 140 feet in the air, etc. 

They might charge more money thus reducing your profit, but are often more well oiled machines and have processes on getting bids out/work done etc.

Some people hate bankers, oil companies, insurance companies, logging, mining, etc.

However, home is heated with oil.
