@Jonathan CerulliIf you could do that then none of us would have jobs....you can’t “represent” a client and you can’t define the type of agency between you and and your client without you being licensed.

Yeah it is a thing with fannie mae or other REO where the owning agency has a mandate to specifically support homeownership.

He purposely hid this, and furthermore, so did the agent representing him.I probably wouldn't report them to the licensing agency, but I absolutely would have a conversation with their employing broker (and mine) and ask them the rhetorical question about what to do with this now-stigmatized property that their agents got under contract and did not act in good faith.

@Andrew Busby There are a 1,000 solutions out there....we've been using Trans Union My Smart Move for years...noting like a credit and background check straight from the credit rating agency...plus you can pass the cost directly to the tenant...good analytics to review once the screening is complete as well...free to use.
