I would keep saving up cash with the intent to pounce on a deal that comes your way in the next few years.

I assume my starting point is to get a letter of intent (LOI) from a bank, recruit my investors, then recruit my sellers.

The real issue is intent.

I'd break the door down and make sure she was breathing...then I'd cover her up with a blanket and contact some local help (non-police... they only make situations worse)...What did you do?

I was not advertising and have no intent to advertise but was asking for a resource.  

I am not employed at the moment, although my wife earns mid 60s and we have 660'ish credit scores with a BK7 on record 2 years ago.I live in South Florida, near Fort Lauderdale in Davie and established a non-profit a few years ago with intent to rehab/flip houses or possibly build on vacant land given by a local city top develop on.Aside from that, I am hoping to meet someone form the area who has been "down this road before" and would maybe be willing to at a minimum have lunch with me to give me some professional advice.Anyhow, nice to "meet" everyone!

At that time, I bought a condo unit out of foreclosure in Marlborough, MA and have lived there since.As a new investor, my intention is to start with a multifamily unit in terms of a duplex to fourplex in the Metrowest area (Framingham to Worcester region).Lastly, given that I am new and eager to learn, please let me know if you know of any real estate investing meet-up and/or networking opportunities in the Metrowest/Worcester areas in MA?

As a full time Director of IT for a hospital, I don't need the income to live day to day therefore my intentions are to reinvest all cash-flow back into the business.So here I am, looking for knowledge as I start my path to retirement stability.
