The information on the addendum could give you a clue as to if they give any preferencesCall the listing agent or better yet the asset manager if you can get access

They are managing a property I own in Cleveland, but wont release the rent money to me and will not inform me of what the status is with this property by providing timely reports. 

The information needed to fill out a 1099 can be taken from from the contractor’s W-9.
