We are buy and hold so our strategy is different however I think as a city to invest in Lynchburg is great..it is growing and Liberty University is just one of many employers (but it is huge and it is not going anywhere so it is driving massive growth) We look at other areas but we coming back to Lynchburg.

Cons: distance from home, longer to pay down incurred debt from remodelsSelling, Pros: would pay of mortgage plus all the debt ( nothing left over after that), wouldn't have to drive anymore.

I would also drive different areas you are interested investing in. 

Natural curiosity and narrowing what you want do should drive what you read. 

In just under 8 weeks we completely renovated the entire property: roof, stucco, windows, doors, trim, flooring, granite, stainless steel, new bathroom vanities, tile tub surrounds, pool equiptment, furnace, water heater, and so much more!

Oh, and more and more people are moving in DFW driving up the demand for housing.

All surround a key issue or issues that result in loss of jobs. 

Looking to possibly move to the medford area but also willing to drive there if need be for a meetup or possible investment soon.
